Remember this song?
Many years from now,
Will you still be sending me a valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine?If I’d been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door,
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I’m sixty-four?oo oo oo oo oo oo oo oooo
You’ll be older too, (ah ah ah ah ah)
And if you say the word,
I could stay with you.I could be handy mending a fuse
When your lights have gone.
You can knit a sweater by the fireside
Sunday mornings go for a ride.Doing the garden, digging the weeds,
Who could ask for more?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I’m sixty-four?Every summer we can rent a cottage
In the Isle of Wight, if it’s not too dear
We shall scrimp and save
Grandchildren on your knee
Vera, Chuck, and DaveSend me a postcard, drop me a line,
Stating point of view.
Indicate precisely what you mean to say
Yours sincerely, Wasting Away.Give me your answer, fill in a form
Mine for evermore
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I’m sixty-four?Whoo!
That’s kinda how I feel about the older horses…
Historically, when we’ve run Bucket Funds for older horses, they just don’t do as well as the BFs for younger horses or mares.
I understand and it is OK…
… it just makes me work harder to try to figure out ways to do better by them – and all Bucket Funders.
Below are the newest photos of Buster from last weekend when he participated in the Healing Hooves program at Sweetwater Ranch.
(Buster is our 42 year old June Bucket Fund horse who has no sponsor. You can read his story here.)

This is Buster, our June Bucket Fund horse who is 42 years old! He is an ex-police horse who was found starving a few years ago. Buster was brought back to health and is still working as a therapy horse!

At 42, Buster has no sponsors – yet, he works every day and even gives kids rides!

This is Buster’s best friend, Justin. He was saved from slaughter by Sweetwater 911. If you’d like to help/sponsor Buster, please click image.
So today, in honor of Buster, I am offering two new ways to donate to the Bucket Fund that may be more appealing to some of you.
NEW WAYS TO BENEFIT THE BUCKET FUND!
1) For June and Buster only… CANDI CANE COOPER: An hour consultation for the price of a half hour!!
For the remainder of June, Candi Cane Cooper (Animal Communicator) will donate her fees to Buster.
And, not only that, if you tell her that you would like to use the HORSE AND MAN COUPON, you can get an hour for the price of a half hour!
Wowee! Very generous of her! Hopefully, this will boost Buster’s Bucket Fund.

Click image to book a session with Candi and make sure to tell her that you want to use the Horse and Man coupon and she will give you a full hour for the price of a half hour $100)! Her fee will be donated to Buster!
2) RIDING WAREHOUSE WILL HELP!
Yup, if you CLICK THE LOGO and end up purchasing, Riding Warehouse will help!
They specialize in English, Western and Endurance tack, gear and clothing.
So, if you think you might need anything, if you use this portal, Riding Warehouse will give a percentage back!
I’ve never done anything like this before so I have no idea if it will work. But, I think it is worth the college try!

If you use this portal to enter Riding Warehouse and end up purchasing anything, Riding Warehouse will help the Bucket Fund.
HORSE AND MAN is a blog in growth… if you like this, please pass it around!

Mary: The purchases are tracked via the portal link. Horse and Man will receive a check monthly – if there are sales. Don’t you worry, I will keep an eye on things! And, yes indeedy, they
already told me of your purchase! The person who reps this for me at Riding Warehouse sent an email just today!
Thank you Mary for your purchase / donation :)
Thank you riding warehouse for giving back to the horses !!!
Sooo may companies make their living from the animals and never look back….
Glad that you are compassionate and pass it forward.
Peace,
Candi C Cooper
CEO / Sweet Water Ranch Inc.
Just ordered from the Riding Warehouse…we’ll see if they add to the bucket fund.
Bustet says : thank you to everyone who took a moment to read his story . Every dollar matters ….
