Tomorrow is Hubby’s birthday and I have a million things to do to prepare!
You see, his whole life, Hubby has felt neglected on his birthday… His younger sister was born on his birthday 2 years later and Hubby always felt that his mother favored her and forgot about him.
And then, Hubby’s daughter, Katarina, was also born on that day!
A great gift… but of course everyone made a big hoopla for Katarina and not so much for Daddy.
So, after we got married and he shared with me how his birthday didn’t really mean that much to him…
Huh?
…and then I dug out why…
Of any day of the year, I make it a point to SuperFuss over Hubby on his birthday.
So, I have to be succinct today.
Here goes!
UPDATE ON ELSA AND ANNA (Jan Bucket Fund)! – THEY NEED TO BUY A SLING!
She made it through another night!
Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary is very eager to purchase a sling for Elsa. At the moment, it takes a team to help her stand… Anderson Slings are on sale right now for $4295 plus shipping! So, the H&M Bucket Fund Goal is to cover the cost of a sling for Elsa!
I am hoping we can get there. Every tiny bit helps! The big bits help, too! ;) I have assured Dust Devil Ranch that we will do our best to help them purchase the much needed sling for Elsa.
Amazingly, since we posted the Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary FB page link, their LIKES went from 1401 to 3335 – and the numbers continue to soar! Yay! Thank you all for spreading the word! The more people who are aware, the more who will help. It takes a village, as we know!
