Last month, our Bucket Fund recipient was the very hard working and dedicated rescue BHFER (Beauty’s Haven Ranch and Equine Rescue). We chose them because BHFER had fallen upon unusually hard times – after years of remarkable and exemplary equine rescue work.
BHFER was uplifted and honored that you all gave so quickly and that we reached our goal within 48 hours! Bravo! Such a relief for BHFER. Thank you all for your kindness, good thoughts and gifts!

Talk about great timing…! The ASPCA has offered a $5000 matching grant! (Read the story and donate here!)

The ASPCA has most graciously offered $5,000 in matching funds to help us during this challenging time! All donations made and marked for the “ASPCA Match Game” will be matched once we reach the $5000 mark. That’s right – once we receive $5000 in donations, it will be matched by a $5000 grant from the ASPCA!

I had to share this… Norma wanted to have a slumber party with Mama Tess this evening, so I let her…. when I walked down to the barn tonight to put on Tess’ blanket, they were like this. You can see that MT was not happy I had disturbed them!
