I NEED A JANUARY BUCKET FUND IDEA…: Here is the criteria!

Hello Wonderful Readers!

Usually, I have an abundance of horses that need help every month…

But, not this month.

(I’ve made some inquiries but I haven’t heard back.)

So, I’m opening up the forum to you.

Do you know of a horse or horses in need that fit the criteria listed below?

If so, please email me!

BUCKET FUND CRITERIA

1)  COMPELLING TRUE STORY THAT CAN BE AUTHENTICATED

2)  VET REPORT AND CONTACT INFORMATION

3)  PHOTOS OF GOOD QUALITY

4)  AGREE TO UPDATES THROUGHOUT THE MONTH

5)  PREFER  501 (C) 3 NON-PROFIT STATUS… DONATIONS CANNOT BE GIVEN TO A PRIVATE PARTY (VET HOSPITAL OR FEED STORE  ARE OK  BUT NOT PREFERRED)

6)  THIS IS NOT A STORY ABOUT A PARTICULAR RESCUE FACILITY… THE STORY HAS TO BE ABOUT AN INDIVIDUAL HORSE OR HORSES THAT NEED HELP FOR A DRAMATIC REASON

There is a woman named Audrey in olivenhein who has a rescue called rescuing horses inc. Google rescuing horses inc. I have spoken with her though not in person. She is doing good work in California for rescuing unwanted horses

I live out where they are trying to help Elsa, the filly who was frozen to the ground. She is very weak, and they are caring for her 24/7. I know for a fact they are short on funds, struggling. If you could help Elsa and her mother (also starved), it would mean so very much to them. Elsa wants to live. She’s trying so hard! Please help if you find it in your heart to do so.

You do such great work for so many and I LOVE your style of writing! Why not make Mama Tess a bucket fund? I can tell you need the money when you state the coffer is empty. To see you having to sell the saddle is sad but understandable. Many would help you knowing how much good you do for others and donate to help you out. If you aren’t comfortable with that (and you shouldn’t be) maybe this story that came across my Facebook page would be appropriate.

“A young horse was recovering less than a week after she was found frozen to the ground in a patch of mud in Enoch, her mother also starving and abandoned nearby.

The horse, now known as Elsa, was nearly dead when she was discovered Thursday by passers-by who noticed her mother in distress, said Ginger Grimes, who is caring for the horses at Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary for Horses near Cedar City. Elsa, about a year and a half old, was lying in frozen ground. ”

I love your blog Dawn as so many others do!
