A HAPPY SUNDAY UPDATE ON XENA THE FIGHTER, remember her?: SHE WAS ATTACKED AND LEFT TO DIE…

Remember Xena?

I wrote about her ordeal here and then again about the horrible ‘game’ she might have been made to participate in here.

You will probably remember these photos of the day she was found… bleeding and locked inside the cyclone fencing of a power station.

The first photo is Xena being led down to the awaiting rescue trailer.  The next photo is a series of her intake pics.

This is Xena being walked down to her rescue trailer.

These are some of her intake photos…

LOOK AT HER NOW!

Xena’s rescuer/adopter told me:

She is doing really well still her sassy self lol. Honey is the dog that is usually in the pictures and she is usually always around Xena I have many dogs and Xena does really well with all of them for the wounds I used Vetericyn and water and they healed so nicely she was washed down a few times each day and re sprayed with vetericyn. I also had her on Formula 1 and Platinum Equine to help fight it internally to boost her immune system.

It is hard to believe this is the same horse! Good Job! Her wounds were washed 2-3 times daily and Vetericyn was applied.

Lumpy due to lost muscle, but good!

These must have been the most deep – and they are in an area that moves … so probably doesn’t heal as quickly.

Again, lumpy but good.

This is such a sensitive area… but healed! Lucky it wasn’t worse here.

YOU CAN CONTINUE TO FOLLOW HER ON FB!

As you probably all know, Xena was adopted by her non-horsey rescuer… who has now become very horsey, for sure!

Here they are…
