Last month, in this dicey economy, the Horse & Man Group was able to fund-raise for two different Bucket Fund horses! We gathered a total of $6750 in September! Wowee! Thank you all – and also thank you for all the prayers and good will!
SEPT BUCKET FUND # 1, BROTHER
Poor Emaciated ‘Brother’ rescued by SERRA (Sonoma Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation and Adoption).
Who could forget his intake photos… awful.
But, 5 weeks later, thanks to the prayers, good will and support of many, here is how he looks today!
OUR BUCKET FUND RECEIPT FOR BROTHER and the response!
SERRA’S RESPONSE
A HUGE THANK YOU! We are truly grateful that the word is getting out. Brother continues to improve everyday by leaps and bounds.
SEPT BUCKET FUND #2, ‘THE MORGAN HILL 10’
This is an ongoing story and you can continue to know what is going on by following ERC’s FB page linked here. I know the town was outraged which makes me hope that they will continue the news coverage until this situation is remedied.
I’d like to note that the abundance of donations came from California – especially right around Morgan Hill. So nice. Glad the community rallied for these horses!
MORGAN HILL 10 BUCKET FUND RECEIPT AND ERC’S RESPONSE!
This was posted on the ERC FaceBook page:
RIDING WAREHOUSE PAYMENT!
This was our August payment which we received in September. Soon, we will receive our October payment.
This month, the total was small… but every little bit helps. Other months, the total was much larger so don’t worry… it all evens out. Just remember that if you are going to shop for tack or gear or whatever you might need, if you go through the Riding Warehouse portal on the bottom of each post or in the right sidebar, your purchase will benefit the Bucket Fund.
Yay!
EVERY CENT OF EVERY PROCEED VIA JEWELRY WITH A PURPOSE THIS MONTH WILL GO TO YANAHA.
