Last month, the Horse and Man Group collected monies to pay back those who help the horses.
First, we raised $260 to help the Drafts at Blue Star Equiculture!

Here is our donation!
BUCK – REWARDING AN ACT OF KINDNESS
Buck was the horse who was dumped by the estate of his deceased owner… (You can read his story here.)
In just 24 hours, we raised $1200 to help the ladies of the barn care for this elder but devoted cutting horse.

This is Buck in his new home… Safe.

Our donation to the people who have Buck. I blocked out her email address because it is a personal email – not a business.
22 MULES ARE SAVED IN NORTH DAKOTA!!
I don’t know much about this story. I have emailed Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue to find out more.
From what I can gather, almost 100 horses and mules were seized from horrible conditions on a ranch in North Dakota. I think there were many dead horses there as well… It wasn’t good.
The horses were adopted out, but the mules were to be auctioned so the County – or the group responsible for the seizure of the animals – could recoup the costs for caring for these animals. The mules were in better shape than the horses (which tells you something about mules and donkeys…).
Somehow, Triple H Miniature Rescue was able to get the mules to their place and hold the auction at their facility. In this way, they could control who bid.
From what I understand, it was very successful and every mule found a good home.
Way to go, Triple H Miniature Rescue!!
Here are some pics from the event!
