EMERGENCY FEBRUARY BUCKET FUND! RESCUERS FOUND THIS YOUNG HORSE – NOW NAMED, “TROUBADOUR” – IN AWFUL CONDITIONS.

Humans and their treatment of animals amazes me and also confounds me.  This poor little 3 year old horse lived like this – and their humans thought it was just fine.  Thank horsegods for Animal Control who called in Heart of Phoenix to come get this poor horse.

Trubadour is a wreck.  He is smelly, skinny, full of lice and worms… the vet is on the way. This poor guy had on a cow halter that was cutting into his face and eye.  He was living among trash and sharp metal flashing, broken pallets, a foot of manure, boards with nails in them, unsafe wires and chains…  It is appalling and amazing that this guy doesn’t have cuts all over him and tetanus.

Please, please let us help this young horse!  Let’s right the wrong.  Look what he endured, yet he was willing to be led by humans OUT OF THERE.

All donations are 100% tax deductible.  Thank you!  No amount too small!  It all adds up!

THEY PUT OUT HAY AND COW GRAIN WHEN AUTHORITIES CAME…but no one was fooled.

There was hay and corn grain all over the manure floor when authorities arrived… But it didn’t work.  Troubadour was taken away, thank Horsegods, Animal Control and Heart of Phoenix Rescue!

Troubadour is very skinny even though he has a thick coat.   The vet will give a full report as soon as he can.

Please help Troubadour’s rescuers care for him!  He is estimated to be 3 years-old.  Probably a Tennessee Walking Horse.

You can see his bones, here.

Can you imagine?

Hazards everywhere

As they walked him out, he drank in a pool of mud water. Cleaner than what was in his cooler.

The fresh hay on top of manure.

Once rescuers found him and put a HORSE halter on him, they loosened the cow halter that was embedded in his face.

No one was fooled. Clearly Troubadour only had the wood box to eat previously.

ANY amount adds up.  Please help us right this wrong!!

THANK YOU in advance!  All donations are 100% tax deductible!

No worries, Dawn! You never let them down! You help so many! You had to put Troubador’s story out as soon as you could because February is a short month, and we are all doing the “tax dance”. Blessings and thank you for all you do! I’ll see what I can do… at least a little bit!
