One photo says it all.
This July Bucket Fund means so much to me. Humans have absolutely let this horse down in a very big and painful way. I’d like to right that wrong.
No horse deserves this. I’d like to corral all of you Horse and Man readers to give this horse the care he needs. Let’s do our best to make him comfortable for the rest of his life!
HIS STORY…
(Corrected 7/6 – My error, I thought he was a stallion… he is a gelding. He will not need gelding surgery.)
This is “Read” who was found in a kill buyer pen. He was a wild horse who had a halter placed on him during his youth – and it was never removed.
Read needs so much. His rescuer, Clare Staples, is just one woman, like us… who has rescued several horses recently, on her own. We CAN help her help this poor horse! Read has been seen by a vet. He has been started on antibiotics. It would be great to help with his quarantine, meds, Coggins, continued treatment, transportation, some gentling and a donation to have him live out his life in a Mustang Sanctuary. $2500 should allow him his health and a noble life from here on out. Please help. This is so heinous.
All donations are 100% tax deductible. Thank you in advance.
