Oy… it just isn’t stopping…
Big Oaks Rescue Farm who just took in the 20+ horribly neglected and living among carcasses January Bucket Fund horses, now added another…
She is a 21 year-old mare who is horribly malnourished (2 on the Henneke Scale), needs hoof and teeth care immediately and is missing an eye that was never treated so it needs fast attention (you don’t want to know the details, believe me…).
Her name is Patches and she joins the 20+ other newly rescued South Caroline horses at Big Oaks Rescue.

Look at that horribly rough coat with no fat during this harsh winter! She is a 2 on the Henneke Scale.

Here is her missing eye… it was not treated so it needs immediate attention as it hasn’t healed properly.

Patch is a 21 year-old mare that was barely hanging on… before Big Oaks Rescue Farm agreed to take her – along with the other 25 horses they just took in!!! How could they say NO to her?! Look at her! Her one eye is draining and needs attention!
PLEASE… LET’S HELP THE VERY GENEROUS PEOPLE OF BIG OAKS RESCUE FARM! STARBUCKS MONEY? CAR SEAT CHANGE? ANYTHING! IT ALL ADDS UP!
We want people like Big Oaks to keep rescuing as many as they can as often as they can!
