Last month, you were all very generous to help me with my personal horse, Mama Tess.
Like a concrete block lifted off of my shoulders, these donations ($8365!) were an enormous relief! Previous to her hospital stay, I had already nearly depleted my reserves with all of her vet bills and podiatry devices leading up to the ICU. So, all of your good will, prayers and financial aid totally helped me cope with this emotionally, financially and physically draining month.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I used the money to pay for her hospital stay, a prior due vet bill, some medicines and supplements. I’ve attached here more receipts than the money collected only to appease the people who don’t like vet bills and prefer supplements or vice versa. In this way, most people will like one of the ways the wonderful donations were spent.

The invoice for a month of ICU. (I just received this bill today. I had paid the previous invoice of $5647.)

This is a prior vet bill from one of the vets who treated Tess before she went into ICU.

This is my check card receipt for some of her medications the docs prescribed via Valley Vet.

This is an invoice for more supplements to continue the protocol that is helping to balance her system and has made her look incredibly healthy.
UPDATE ON BETSY ROSE!
You remember our July Bucket Fund mare, Betsy Rose…

Betsy Rose’s intake picture. She couldn’t stand. She spent a month in a sling…
Well, thanks to BEAUTY’S HAVEN FARM AND EQUINE RESCUE, Betsy Rose now looks like this…!
Amazing what food, good care and love can do…

Such a difference!

She can stand on her own! (look at the mini hooligans in the background!)

She has enough strength to steal other people’s food…

She can give rides.

She tries because she knows she is safe. And that is what it is all about…
I’M FINALLY SENDING OUT THE 2013 GIVEAWAY ITEMS!
Yup, My bad. I’ve been so swamped that it took me 2 weeks to package up and send out all the gifts to the winners.
Sorry.
No excuse except too much of a muchness going on around here.

The pile of boxes ready to be sent out today.
