It was a banner day! Because of you, I was able to totally pay off Tess’ hospital/limb perfusions and aftercare bill!
I also bought:
–her medications, a case of vet wrap, a new equine slipper, psyllium, Anti-Flam, EquiSilver, Saline and one round of Team Maggot!

TESS UPDATE
Presently, Tess has her 3rd regimen of maggots fighting the good fight in her hoof. They arrived today and due to the warm weather, they were very robust and ready to go! The Founder Warrior should be back next week to check on her – or the week after, depending if we need another round of bugs.

BUCKET FUND BABY FILLY ARIA UPDATE
The good news is that there was discussion between Aria’s vets that they wanted to try a splint first – to see if a splint would have any effect on the ligaments before any surgery was performed.
OUR MAY BUCKET FUND – THIS IS TOTALLY FIXABLE! She only needs surgery – one that Texas A&M has performed many times before. To learn more, click image!
Luckily, DynaSplint leases the correct equine splint so The Horse and Man Group donated the $500 deposit money via the Bucket Fund to lease it. The little splint should be to Aria by Friday!
This is a filly with a similar affliction to Aria.. DynaSplint feels they can help little Aria and The Horse and Man Group has paid to lease one for her!
6J RANCH “LINEAGE” VIDEO
As you all know, I’m trying to learn iMovie (and become proficient) in my free time. So, please forgive me the flaws…
For this video, I wanted to string together sound bites of Mr. Moore and how he was so incredibly fluent with the lineages of all of his horses. To refresh, at the time this was shot, 6J Paints, owned by the Moores, had a ranch in Texas with over 400 (well fed, healthy, happy) Paints.
it was incredible. A sea of Paints – almost all on huge pastures. Amazing.
During our tour, any horse I pointed to, Mr. Moore would sound the sire, grandsire, dam, granddam… I loved it!
Perhaps this video may only be fun for breeders. But for me, it shows just a taste of Mr. Moore’s love for genetics and breeding. Since I have the same affliction, we were peas in a pod that day.
