ARACELY’S UPDATE – the before photos
Double D Animal Rescue, who is taking care of Aracely, told me the great news tonight! She will go to California! I sure wish I knew who was taking her. I love this story and want updates!
Aracely is a 15 year old Peruvian Paso mare who was surrendered to Double D after the owner could not care for her after she received a ‘rope halter burn’. Here is how she looked upon intake… her skin was horribly infected and her eye was involved.
You can read her original Bucket Fund story, here.

Poor girl. Here eye was completely swollen and her face tissue was necrotic from an old ‘rope halter’ burn that became infected.

After the first vet visit. Her eye was involved. The skin needed to be scraped to release the pull on the eye.
HERE SHE IS TODAY!
Your donations, prayers and good will helped Double D afford the treatments Aracely needed to start her new life. Thank you all!!

Lulu is her new best friend… they are very close. It will be sad when Aracely leaves for her new home. But, this adoption will leave room for a new horse who needs care to come and visit with Lulu.

Her face has improved and the eye will be saved! Wahoo! And the best news, Aracely is moving from Texas to CA! If you are the adopter, please let me know!!
THANK YOU, EVERYONE, FOR YOUR DONATIONS AND GOOD WILL – ALL OF THIS HELPED OUR GIRL!
