25 MORE ‘AT RISK’ BLM WILD BURROS NEED HOMES!! CAN YOU HELP OR HELP TRANSPORT? READ ON…

While researching our November Bucket Fund BLM Burros, the 3 – Strikes 11, I found out that:

THERE ARE 25 MORE ‘AT RISK’ BLM BURROS IN HOLDING PENS WITHOUT SHELTER IN UTAH that need homes.

DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO CAN TAKE A PAIR OF WONDERFUL WILD BURROS?  TRANSPORTATION CAN BE ARRANGED, THEY JUST NEED HOMES!

They have to be adopted in pairs.   They are only $25 each.

Of course, you have to apply and be accepted, but donks are so wonderful, if you have the time, the space, the ability and the love to take on 2 of our countries precious wild burros, please email:  (Elaine Nash) at email Elaine and request an application to adopt a pair of these amazing burros.

What an opportunity!

CLICK HERE to read all about her program to adopt out and transport these burros… Elaine has “Fleet of Angels” standing by.  She just needs homes and fuel costs!

THE ENTIRE STORY:

GENERAL INFORMATION
MISSION: KEEPING ‘THE GUATEMALA 100’ BURROS IN AMERICA

THE PROBLEM:
BLM is planning to ship 100 burros to Guatemala where they will be used as beasts of burden (and possibly worse). The burros targeted for this plan are burros who are victims of BLM’s ‘three strikes’ policy, meaning that they’ve been offered for adoption three times without being adopted. That qualifies the burros as ‘sale authority’ animals, so they can now be sold without restrictions for $25.00 each. Because of the tremendous risk to the burros of over-use, abuse, neglect, starvation, theft, and slaughter, this campaign has been launched to save the burros from the fate planned for them by BLM.

THE SOLUTION: WE CAN BUY THE BURROS!
People who would like to help with our effort to stop BLM’s sale of 100 burros to Guatemala citizens to be used as beasts of burden can PURCHASE up to FOUR of the burros* (PURCHASING is a different process and form from regular BLM ADOPTION process). Again, you can PURCHASE burros for $25.00 each, rather than ADOPT burros for $125.00 each- although adopting a BLM is still an option for anyone who prefers to adopt, of course. *Purchase of more than four burros is possible, but required additional approvals from BLM.
To start the process, EMAIL me (Elaine Nash) at HoldYourHorses@aol.com, and I will reply with the FORM you need to fill out.

TRANSPORTATION:
Fleet of Angels will assist will the delivery of burros in every case possible by helping coordinate low cost transporters. In order to transport for the lowest costs possible, we will need to group as many burros as possible together for at least the longest portions of each trip. TPP may also be able to assist with funds for transporting individual burros by local transporters from the ‘drop centers’ that we establish for this effort, to their homes. The Platero Project (an HSUS project) will assist with funding burro transportations when possible, especially for the larger group transports.

DONATE TO FUEL FUND (URGENT!):
In order for this mission to be successful, the burros have to be transported from western states to all over the US to their new homes. Fleet of Angels transporters are all committed to transporting at-risk equines for the lowest possible rate, but the cost of fuel has to be covered in every case. If you can assist with these costs, please send to FleetOfAngelsOrg@aol.com through www.PayPal.com. Any funds that might remain will be used to assist with similar events. To send funds via mail, contact Elaine Nash at HoldYourHorses@aol.com for a mailing address.

* Fleet of Angels is a registered non-profit. Tax exempt status is in progress. Donations will be retroactively deductible when 501c3 status is approved.

You can always go to your nearest BLM holding facility and adopt another young burro…

I already have a 1yr 1mth old gelded donkey. I would love to get another around his age but I don’t only want to adopt one as I have one already. No room for 3 donkeys.
