The California State Fair has started!

We love to go to the Fair!  This year, it won’t be quite as hot so we have that going for us.

Our favorite show is the hypnotists.  Hubby loves the vendors – those slice ’em dice ’em guys.

I like walking through all the animal areas – especially the show chickens – except I hate to see the paint marks on the goats/pigs/cows that have been sold for meat.  Sad to me.

Let’s do what they’re doing!

I still love this one. The horse’s eye gets me.

This kind of photo makes me know that someone had a good time making all of the creatures. The markings are so wonderful!

Mamas and babies – the same everywhere.

I wonder if they bet on the game?

I just don’t get the horses in the house thing. Love the dolphin photo.

Hmmm, baby Mountain Goats? Those back legs look like they’re going to be pretty powerful springs! Adorable, no matter what they are :)

Re emus, they are omnivores and will eat anything so it could have recently had and eaten something it caught and killed.
